Vision and Values
Based on my work with SPS administrators and staff over the past several years, I believe four core commitments guide the work of academic affairs.

Since these goals are implicit in the SPS mission, as Associate Dean, they would form the framework of my leadership. In light of these values, I’d like to suggest three new SPS program offerings that I’d be delighted to guide to fruition.
Three New Program Ideas:
- Expanded Writing Program: Science Writing (MS) and Rhetoric and Writing Studies (MA)
- Education Entrepreneurship (Certificate and MS)
- Global Change Initiatives (MS)
